I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior in the passenger’s seat of my pastor’s car in 2019, before coming to Life Challenge Ministries. This was a long time coming since I grew up going to the same Southern Baptist Church since I was a young child.

I knew that I was falling away from my faith and turning to alcohol and drugs as a source of fulfillment. I heard about Life Challenge Ministries from my home church pastor. After discussing the option to come to Life Challenge Ministries with him, to have the opportunity to study the Bible (undistracted for a year’s time), I gladly said “Yes.”

Since coming to Life Challenge Ministries, I have dealt with my past trauma, enjoying the opportunity to study the Bible in depth, and I am discovering who I am in Christ.

My favorite verse is Joshua 1:7-9 “Be strong and courageous.”
