Before I came to Life Challenge, I was living week to week, self-medicating in order to deal with the problems and pains that I experienced throughout life.  I was under the illusion that I could handle and control my life by myself until the point at which it almost cost me my life.  I heard about LCM as a teen, but didn’t think I needed help.

I have known about Jesus since I was a child, but never pursued an active relationship with him.  Jesus has shown me mercy, grace, compassion and love…more than my mind can comprehend, and I am eternally grateful.

Two of my favorite scriptures are Psalm 61: 2 “When is heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I” and Deut. 33:29 “He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword, your enemies will cower before you and you will tread on their heights.”
