Before knowing Christ, I didn’t think I was worth anything. I lived without friends, and I stayed home all the time. I was at my lowest. I had been used in sex trafficking, and I had been forcibly shot up with heroin by other people. My fiancé’s uncle helped me get to Life Challenge.
I found Jesus back in 2015 at Faith Farm in Florida. But I thought He had left me. After I came to LCM Detroit, my faith was restored. I know Jesus didn’t leave me because He gave me the strength to make it through that abuse.
My favorite scripture is Matthew 5:16: “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your father in heaven.”
