Life Challenge Ministries is a one-year residential recovery program for men with drug, alcohol, and other life-controlling addictions. Our goals are more than rehabilitation—helping men get clean and sober and to make fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. We seek to help men turn from their self-destructive ways and put their faith in God by emphasizing Bible study, counseling, and Christian community. The majority of our students come to Life Challenge Ministries with very little belongings.
Subsequently, we provide for all our students the basic needs of food, bedding, clothes and basic toiletries. But we are struggling due to inflation and the increased number of students in the program. In just one year, Life Challenge Ministries will have over 100 men come into the program. We are looking to reduce the burden on Life Challenge Ministries to supply the basic toiletries, but we need help. Please help us provide a “basic need” toiletry kit for each student for $20.00 or by
donating toiletries.

- If you prefer to make a financial contribution, please make checks payable to Life Challenge Ministries with the memo “care”. These donations will be added to other contributions to take advantage of bulk buying savings.
- If you have a bit more to give, please review the “A Bit Extra” list. Example: A complete bedding set (sheets, pillow and blankets) can be fulfilled for $50.00.
- If you are working with a group, please collect the items or financial gifts and contact Dale Richardson at Life Challenge Ministries at 313.531.0111. We will make arrangements to either have the items dropped off at the respective campuses or arrange for a pick-up for donations (larger than 50 items).
