What general advice do you have for the parents of a son or daughter who is using?

Don’t sacrifice your marriage for the sake of a wayward child. The most important relationship you have—next to God—is with your spouse. Protect that bond. Nourish it. Don’t let anything get in the way. Kids come and go; a wife or husband does not.
