I had it all–money, a fiance, travelling, respect, friends. But I lacked purpose. So I dove into hedonism, trying to fill the void. When that did not work, the drugs remained to escape the pain. I lost it all. I moved in with my grandparents. Part of the agreement of living with them was having to go to Celebrate Recovery, where I met the men who convinced me to come to Life Challenge Ministries.
I was a staunch atheist. But I knew Jesus existed, and I found His teachings compelling. The Holy Spirit then did what only he can do. I am now in love with Christ and devote my life to Him. My spirit, creativity, and heart have been blown wide open. I now have a purpose–to help others find the Lord and be healed.
My favorite scripture is Zephaniah 3:17, “The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”
