I was lost trying to use drugs and alcohol to find peace. I was searching different ways of life to find my place and purpose in the world. I was living in a random house on the west side of Detroit with no water or power most of the time, drinking until I developed cirrhosis of the liver.

My buddy who graduated from Life Challenge is still doing well, and he told me about Life Challenge. One day while at Life Challenge, we all went to a Katy Nichole (Christian artist) concert, and there I gave my life to the Lord. Since then, I have found peace I haven’t known most of my life. I am learning a new way of life that will get me ready for the next step.

My favorite scripture verse is Romans 6:22: “But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.”
