I lived in a state of constant frenzy, chasing after drugs, alcohol, women, and other sinful pursuits, struggling to fill the void in my heart. I tried every “quick fix” I could think of only to find myself feeling emptier than before. Even in this cycle of sin, I prayed often for God to end my madness and draw me closer to Him.
My probation officer told me about Life Challenge and all the success stories he had heard. Nothing else had worked so I decided to enter the program. I was here for almost a month before I fully accepted Christ as my savior. With Jesus Christ in my life, I have a new perspective on life.
Now, instead of giving in to sinful desires, I can run to Jesus, a friend like no other. Christ has shown me the most astounding love that I simply cannot get enough of it! Hebrews 11:1 really ministers to me: “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” My confidence is now in Jesus Christ!
