Andrew

Andrew_F330x150My life was totally selfish. I lived for the moment, always thinking about getting my next fix. Drugs and alcohol blinded me and clouded my priorities. Everything I did was for myself and never for God. Any hope and faith that was in me had disappeared and I was a complete mess. I got more and more desperate and the guilt over the way I was living was overwhelming.

I needed badly to find a place to renew my relationship with Christ. I found out about Life Challenge through a friend who had been through the program. I saw how his life had changed and decided to enter Life Challenge. My outlook and priorities are totally different: now God is my Number One. My attitude about life has completely changed because of what the Lord has done for me.

My favorite scripture is Psalm 23:1-4 ‘The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.’
